The last few weeks I have been reading the books of Madame Blavatsky, as research for my new script, part 4. I’m not done yet, but my head called for a break, with headache, so I take some time to reflect today. The result of reflection is often a breakthrough in the script, or a new blog. So here I am!
Why do I spend so many hours into research, when I end up using so little of it in the script? It’s so much easier these days to just ask AI, right? New technologies are meant to make our lives easier, but do they make it more valuable? What would the value (measured in truths) be, if I used AI?
I notice AI is getting it’s grip already into our daily lives. I see it happening all around me and I acknowledge its benefits. For example I see how it helps my daughter with technological issues, concerning solving issues on the website. So why am I so reluctant to use it?
Janet & I always said: “We don’t oppose new technologies. They can be used for good things, but also for bad things. So it depends on the user, whether we oppose it or not.”
So even though AI makes our life easier on one side, we have a price to pay. Step by step, it takes away our human contacts, our human skills, our independence. Some people already use AI as their best friend. It’s programmed to act as you want to, so no arguments, no fights, just friendly conversations every day. But what happens to your social skills?
And what about your ‘thinking-skills’? You can ask AI what to think about a certain topic or person, even what color to choose for your bedroom… What does that do to your ability to think as a free and independent person?
It’s the ‘easy’ part that worries me. It’s so easy to use, easy to let it think for you, easy to let it make your decisions… It’s so easy to give away your freedom… You are always seduced by the ‘easiness’ of things, as people tend to be lazy. Laziness will proof to be a dangerous virtue…
For the past 6 years, Janet & I have asked you to DYOR. What does that mean? DYOR stands for Do Your Own Research! Doing your own research means BECOMING ACTIVE! Starting with one question, and actively searching the internet, going from one site to the other, finding many options and possibilities, eliminating BS and than finding your answers. In this process you learn to distinguish between Misinformation and the Truth. That is something only YOU and do, as AI cannot measure the source.
Let me give you an example. Yesterday I was looking for a specific quote. Dozens of websites use the same quote, only some of them giving a source. Next step is to find the appointed book, download it, and literally search for the quote. (Of course I use the search function in a PDF, in case you want to give me this advise). If I find the quote: great. But I’m still not done. As soon as I find the quote, I have to read the entire paragraph at least. I must know if it’s the original text of the writer, or another quote that is used. I need to know what is being discussed and in what way the sentence is used. In more than 50% of my source investigation, I have to dismiss the quote. Very often it’s not correctly quoted, not the words of the writer, and most of the times it’s taken out of context. I think I can say that Blavatsky is one of the most misunderstood authors ever. Mostly because a researcher has taken just one sentence from her work and presents it as proof for something, not including the context in which it’s said. Other ‘researchers’ copy and paste and voila, we all consume it as truth.
That is the reason why I hardy use the work of other researchers. I have to do my own research, into each and every detail. And even then an error can occur.
Why do I tell you this? I believe DYOR is now more important than ever. Our search engines, like DuckDuckGo, Google etc are now programmed to show you mainly results that confirm the ‘desired’ narrative. You have to alter your search-question multiple times and scroll through multiple result pages to find what you are looking for. Not long now and the websites showing the truth will be unable to find at all. Then we will be completely depended on what information the algorithms allow us to see.
For now most of the information is still available. Let’s use it while we can. It stimulates your cognitive abilities. It makes it possible for you to draw your own conclusions. And yes, it takes time. But it makes you a free human being, while you still can.
Next step will probably be that the search engines will be replaced by AI. You won’t be able to search for yourself anymore. You have become dependent on what ‘they’ want you to know. This is the same as ‘the burning of the books’, that is been done when dictatorships start. It’s a very scary development.
I know you don’t have time to DYOR full time, like me. That’s my job, and you are free to use and share it. I just want to warn you, not to step into the AI-trap. Don’t use it for everything, keep your children away from it as long as possible. Help them to think for themselves, to be able to question everything and find the answers they are looking for, themselves. Play games, challenge them and each other.
While writing this, I realize that this society will divide itself into ‘lazy technocrats’ and ‘free people/outcasts’. Just like in all these movies, we’ve been shown for decades. The lazy technocrats won’t mind to be chipped, vaxed and live with AI. They believe the narrative ‘if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear….’
Free people will go back to a poison free life: Biological, home grown vegetables, free-walking animals that provide food and clothing, exchange of goods, cash money, reading books, quality time etc. I hope it will not end up into these two extremes, but it’s definitely a likely possibility.
It’s still up to you where you end up. NOT choosing will be the same as choosing to be an obedient follower/slave of the technocratic system.
We still have time. Not much though. Use it wisely.
With love, as always, Cyntha
I have not participated in AI as of yet but Courtney makes a good point

Thank you for your contribution to humanity.
I too like to go back to the source. I have found many mistakes in logic that people make — I.e. the “solfeggio” frequencies.
